Hi guys,

Long time no see ;;;  Hope you've all been well! Really sorry for the massive hiatus I finished uni mid-May and figured I'd have all the free time in the world when I return home. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case at all- I've had a million things to do, sort, fix, people to see and places to go. Most importantly, I needed to find a job and as luck would have it, I found one! So two months later, I present my newest cosplay and am currently working on others for Kitacon 2015. Please be patient as I'll be starting (and be relocating for) this new job next week, so I'll be very busy, but I imagine in a couple months after I've settle in, I'll get back to my usual crafting routine. ^^

Hi guys,

Hope you're all well. The weather's picking up and the cherry blossoms have been beautiful. ^^ So, I've always loved musicals and recently I saw the 25th anniversary version of the Phantom of the Opera. Wow. I've always liked the Phantom of the Opera but this changed it completely for me; Ramin Karmiloo for me is the perfect Phantom and Sierra Boggess the best Christine. <3 They have some wonderful outfits, and Christine's dress for "The Point of No Return" is not only stunning, but passable as a lolita dress. I've been wanting to improve my sewing skills and making this dress would be an amazing challenge.



This would be my first musical cosplay.  <3 <3 Only downside is that I don't suit the appearance of Christine at all, so I'll probably have to cover most of my face. Whether this is via a mask or just careful photography and cropping I don't know yet, but we'll see.  ^^ The video of that scene is below if you haven't seen it and are interested.
